07557884170 - Whose Number?

Normal An update on my comment above I managed to contact vodafone about the no & they sent me a link to check the no & it confirmed that it ISNT in fact a vodafone no so I can only come to the conclusion that the guy has used the first 5 digits of my mobile no & added made up nos

Annoying I had a phone call this morning 21/7 at 11.42 am from no 07557 884170 & as I wasnt there to take the call there was no message I phoned to try & speak to the person & without giving any of my details ie name & phone no I just told him i had a phone call from this no to my mobile no & asked the guy his name & he asked for mine & i wouldnt give it so he couldnt connect me to my mobile no & pass it on to other people I dont want having it & he hung up on me Does anyone know this no , or know who owns this no? Has anyone had any calls from this no Ive had similar calls from a similar no -both started with 07557 Ive contacted EE to discuss it &if their nos start with 07557 & they confirmed not necessarily .They also said it might be a bit of a scam -people who are taking the first part of your no then making up figures to create a phone no One thing Im 50% sure about -Ive put enquiries on about this no on similar sites & one confirmed it is a vodafone.- I tried to call them but its an auto call & will only allow the query to go ahead by putting in vodafone details
